Crimes Against Birkin!!

And Who in their right mind would destroy a Hermes Bag?!?

Fashion Week No doubt is all about getting some press with quirky fashion choices and off the wall accessories, but super-gluing stones and throwing paint on an ICONIC bag that can EASILY run a girl $10,000+ at it's lowest price is just not worth it for a few hours of street time, which may not even get you any fame!

The Birkin Bag is RARE and SUPEREXPENSIVE to just be a tote! The waitlist for this bag(yes it's THAT EXCLUSIVE), OVER 2 YEARS.!! It isn't sold online and if you're lucky, some super rich Heiress MIGHT sell her last season's on Ebay, OR You're Oprah! So if you are lucky to have one, YOU ARE ONE LUCKY GIRL, or maybe You're Beyonce!!

SO LET'S RECAP...this $10,000 RARE, SUPER EXCLUSIVE BAG SHOULD NOT BE DEFACED! CAN WE GET A POLICE FORCE TOGETHER TO SAVE BIRKIN BAGS, AND DONATE THEM TO GIRLS WHO WILL CHERISH THEM!? NO SERIOUSLY......

Some Stars who Carry their Birkin's RIGHT!

Knock-Off Kardashian

First Kim Kardashian steals someone's Logo then taking someone's fragrance idea, and now Ripping-off Fendi?

One of the Dresses Kim wore 2 weeks ago to the New York Shows representing her Bebe collection(which she was also was heavily criticized for because she was suspected of wearing booty pads) looks awfully redundant, n'est-ce pas?

...and in 2009 it was Fendi wasn't it, who showed a collection of Hooded Corset dresses....

She goes on record to have said that she "doesn't create the line" but whoever does, might not want to mess with Karl Lagerfeld! It's a very thin line when it comes to copyright laws in Fashion.

Vogue Italia [Italian Vogue to you]
recently launched a new website geared towards black fashion.
Vogue Black features interview and photos of icons and fashionistas
like Tyra Banks, Grace Jones & Zoe Saldana.
Its about time someone in the fashion world pulled something like this.
But there are sure to be some who will complain.
My question is how do you feel about it?
Is Vogue Black something we've been waiting for?
Or is this offshoot just furthering and perpetrating the color issue in the fashion industry?
You be the judge.
Check out Vogue Black here

With Today being one of Fashion's greats funerals, We thought that SIX-Magazine should pay our respects! R.I.P. Lee Alexander McQueen. According to his close friends, He just wanted a small ceremony and the people he loved to donate to his two beloved charities: The Terrence Higgins Trust and Battersea Dogs Home

The Alexander McQueen business has confirmed there will be a show on March 9th during Paris Fashion Week and furthermore, The Alexander McQueen line will continue on.
Our Question is, WHO WILL DESIGN FOR HIS FASHION HOUSE?
Someone has some Large Shoes to Fill!

A Man in Heels? Not something that you see EVER at Bryant Park.
And Do You still wonder what made N.Y.Fashion Week Different from London Fashion Week?

Aside from the scheduled Tea & Crumpets between every show, The British Know how to PUT ON A SHOW!(An Element that Michael Kors once emphasized on Project Runway)

This Particular Eye catcher was featured in the collection of 24 y.o. New Comer and Netherlands born Iris Van Herpen.
This revolutionary designer isn't afraid to cross the line with fashion, and Experiments in a very ODD manner...but produces Well-Designed and Well-Constructed garments.

She No Doubt was one of the Hot topics at this Years London Fashion Week With her collection Synthasesia, which features a man walking Down the Runway IN HEELS.
-I'm sure we'll hear MUCH MORE from her.

enhancing G-Shocks will diamonds [or "ziamonds"] set into precious metals like gold, silver, or platinum.
Soulja Boy, Whomarion, Trina & Chris Brown have all copped Z-Shocks.

Bryant Park became the beacon of what New York Fashion stands for- an industry that's fearless, tireless and always moving forward.
-Anna Wintour, Vogue

For many designers, an entire year can revolve around the chance to show a collection at the iconic tents at Bryant Park. Envisioning the tents can provide a host of inspiration for legendary, up-and-coming, and beginning designers alike. However, with the recent tragedies in Haiti, the very recent death of iconic designer Alexander McQueen, and the announcement that Lincoln Center at Damrosch Park will be the new Location for the semi-annual Fashion Week, it is interesting to see how these three situations will inspire the designers and the fashion that we see this year at Bryant Park.
Fern Mallis, senior vice president of IMG Fashion, the company that produces the shows, told the New York Times,“It was the right moment for American fashion.” And she couldn't be more right. With the evolving American Fashion, it is only natural that the location synonymous with American Fashion evolves as well.

So, What Can One anticipate from the shows this year?
