Wendy Raquel Robinson talks about the return of The Game

Washington Redbone Redskins wide-receiver Devin Thomas and actresses Vivica A. Fox & Wendy Raquel Washington were spotted partying it up at a dinner party this past weekend hosted by Ciroc. Both Viv and Wendy are starring in the DC-area stage play Cheaper To Keep Her, which also stars Brian McKnight.

But thats not the only news that has people talking about Ms. Robinson. Word on the streets is that BET has picked up The Game for new episodes. This news comes after almost a year of limbo, since the series was unexpectedly dropped from the CW. 

While this is exciting news, the show is still facing problems, the biggest of which is that most of the actors have been getting other gigs. Also, some of the actors' contracts expired before the show was picked up. YIKES. Wendy Raquel Robinson voiced her concerns for the show in a recent interview with NBC;

Me and my husband were in shock. It was something that we campaigned for and prayed for. BET was promising from the get-go that it was going to happen. My only hesitation is that we haven’t gotten our deals as actors yet. So I’m hoping there will be no hiccups. I can’t really scream and shout the way I want to, but I’m doing internal somersaults. I just don’t want to lose the integrity of the show. … There’s nothing worse than coming back and it’s different.
